Clay Perry

Clayton (Clay) Perry serves as Group Head and Managing Director of MAI Retirement at MAI Capital Management, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He leads the firm’s dedicated retirement plan service line, overseeing the development and delivery of fiduciary-based retirement plan consulting and financial wellness programs for businesses, as well as wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Perry's expertise is rooted in the retirement planning sector, focusing specifically on defined contribution and defined benefit plans, consulting for employers and institutional clients, and delivering customized solutions for plan participants and sponsors. His professional background includes co-founding and managing West Point Business Group, which specialized in business retirement plan consulting, prior to its acquisition by MAI Capital; this move marked a significant expansion of MAI’s capabilities into the retirement space.

He holds an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. With recognized credentials as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF™), Perry has made notable contributions to building out national retirement platforms and elevating the standards of industry best practices for retirement plan consulting and financial wellness.
