Dennis Ott

Dennis Ott serves as Principal and Portfolio Manager at Palisade Asset Management, LLC, an independent, employee-owned investment management firm based in Minneapolis, MN. In his role, he oversees portfolio construction and management, spearheading both the Core Growth equity and Fixed Income strategies for a diverse client base.

With over 30 years of portfolio management experience, Dennis Ott’s investment expertise spans multiple asset classes, with particular focus on equities and fixed income securities. His notable background includes a tenure at U.S. Trust prior to joining Palisade in 2006, where he contributed to the firm’s expansion during a period of significant asset growth.

Mr. Ott holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance and Economics from Valparaiso University. He is a CFA charterholder and has supported the industry by mentoring future professionals, such as guiding University of Minnesota students to success at the CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge.
