Shawn Eells

Shawn Eells, CFA, is a Principal & Portfolio Manager at Palisade Asset Management, LLC, where he specializes in building and managing tax-efficient equity and fixed income portfolios for clients. Based on each client's specific income, growth, and cashflow needs, Shawn creates customized portfolios, focusing on both public equities and fixed income securities, with an emphasis on tax efficiency and personal financial goals.

His career spans significant roles, including Director of Investment Management at UnitedHealth Group, where he developed and implemented investment strategies for both equity and fixed income portfolios. He contributed to the management of institutional retirement plan investments and has earlier experience in client-facing positions at national financial services firms, such as Scottrade Financial Services.

Shawn holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is active in professional associations including the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
