Tom Welch

Tom Welch was a Principal at Palisade Asset Management in Minneapolis, MN, where he contributed leadership and deep expertise to the firm from 2009 through 2024. At Palisade, he focused on guiding portfolio strategy and risk management within traditional equity and fixed income asset classes, supporting institutional and private clients in their investment objectives.

Prior to joining Palisade, Tom held significant governance roles including Trustee and Director at Northcott Hospitality, LLC, and served as Director and Committee Chair for Entrx Corp., where he provided oversight of audit and compensation functions. His extensive leadership experience also spanned roles at US Trust and Entrprize Corp., indicating robust knowledge in corporate finance, hospitality, and strategic asset allocation.

Tom earned both a JD and BS in law and accounting from The University of North Dakota School of Law, equipping him with rigorous analytical capabilities and a strong foundation in compliance and fiduciary oversight.
