Christopher Dowd

Christopher Dowd is a Research Analyst at Third Avenue Management in New York, where he focuses on the Third Avenue Small-Cap Value Fund. In this role, he is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of small-cap companies, with a core emphasis on value investing strategies. His coverage includes equity analysis in sectors such as energy—recently highlighted in media commentary on gas exploration and production—as well as broader small-cap equities.

Prior to joining Third Avenue Management in 2021, Mr. Dowd served as Vice President at MC Credit Partners LP, specializing in private credit and high yield debt, and as Senior Investment Analyst at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he developed expertise in credit markets and institutional asset management.
