Kevin Yang

Kevin C.H. Yang is the Principal, Chief Investment Officer, and Portfolio Manager at ZWJ Investment Counsel Inc. in Atlanta, GA. He leads investment strategy and portfolio management, and plays a key role as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, shaping investment decisions and client asset allocation.

Since joining ZWJ in 2006, Kevin specializes in managing investments for individuals, small businesses, and institutional clients. His expertise spans equity and fixed-income securities, focusing on customized portfolio management, multi-asset allocation, and rigorous security selection, with an emphasis on long-term wealth preservation and risk management in both U.S. and international markets.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of both the CFA Institute and CFA Society Atlanta. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, he brings a diverse analytical background and engineering rigor to investment research and portfolio construction, making significant contributions within the wealth management and investment advisory sector.
