Eric Chin

Eric Chin is a General Partner at Crosslink Capital, based in Woodside, CA, where he leads investments and strategy for the firm's venture capital program. He specializes in identifying and backing early-stage and growth companies in sectors such as Internet, software, cloud infrastructure, frontier technology, digital media, AI, logistics, fintech, health, cybersecurity, and consumer technology. His responsibilities also include managing relationships with entrepreneurs as co-founder and president of Alpha, a premier networking club connecting over 2,000 founders and CEOs.

With over 30 years of experience, Eric previously held General Partner roles at Bay Partners, focusing on early-stage technology investments including organizations like Dropcam, Invensense, MuleSoft, and Opsource. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Internet server software company WebSpective and TelASIC Communications, and held business development roles at Mainspring (IBM) and MILCOM, commercializing technologies from defense, aerospace, and military labs.

Eric earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from Dartmouth College. He has a strong reputation in the venture capital industry for his expertise in early-stage technology startups and has contributed to notable exits and IPOs, including investments in Postmates, ServiceMax, Coupa, and Bleacher Report.
