Gabby Contro

Gabby Contro is a Partner at Crosslink Capital in San Francisco, where she leads early-stage investments focused on vertical software, marketplaces, enterprise applications, and commerce sectors. At Crosslink, she plays a key role in sourcing deals, supporting entrepreneurs, and guiding companies from seed and Series A investment through growth. Contro also serves on the board of Zivian Health, reflecting her involvement in digital health and technology-driven business models.

Since joining Crosslink in 2013, Gabby has been closely involved in several notable investments, including BuildingConnected (acquired by Autodesk), Postmates (acquired by Uber), Flume Health, and Hungryroot. Prior to her venture capital career, she was a consultant at Ernst & Young in New York, specializing in valuation analysis and pricing, and also worked in sales operations and strategy at Pinterest during her MBA studies.

Gabby holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and a BS from Lehigh University, where she played Division 1 varsity basketball. Her expertise spans enterprise, fintech, digital health, AI, logistics, cybersecurity, and consumer sectors, aligning with Crosslink’s broad investment mandate across disruptive technology in North America.
