Tobias Nilsson-Roos

Tobias Nilsson-Roos is a Principal at Crosslink Capital, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. In this capacity, he leads investments and supports portfolio companies, with a particular focus on early-stage ventures leveraging AI-first software applications, financial technology, and deep technology across both horizontal and vertical markets.

Tobias specializes in sectors including AI-driven enterprise software, fintech, deep tech, cyber security, and technology enabled services, frequently sourcing and evaluating opportunities in the US and Canada. His deal experience also spans verticals such as health care, analytics, logistics, supply chain management, and B2B SaaS, reflecting the broad mandate of Crosslink Capital and his expertise in disruptive business models.

Prior to joining Crosslink in 2021, Tobias was an associate in the Technology M&A Group at RBC, where he led transactions in enterprise software, fintech, and consumer internet. He began his career in equity sales at Citigroup, before moving to Apptimize to develop its enterprise sales strategy. Tobias earned his B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Vermont, where he also played varsity hockey. He is a co-founder of O1 Collective, a network for European tech leaders in the US.
