Melanie Peche

Melanie Peche, CFA, is a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Alta Capital Management LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she plays a key role in managing investment strategies and portfolio construction. As a minority owner and principal at Alta, she works on the firm’s quality growth equity strategies, with particular focus on large-cap and all-cap U.S. equities as well as emerging markets strategies.

Melanie specializes in quality growth investing and is actively involved in managing both U.S. and global equity portfolios. Her work emphasizes long-term capital growth, rigorous fundamental research, and ESG integration, with deep sector experience in equities derived from her quantitative and qualitative analytical background.

Before joining Alta in 2004, Melanie built international investment experience at Goldman Sachs International and Salomon Smith Barney in London. She holds a B.S. in Finance/Accounting from the University of Wisconsin (1994) and is a CFA charterholder. Her broad expertise and track record have established her as a respected figure in institutional asset management, highly regarded for her contributions to equity research and portfolio management.
