Kain Cederberg

Kain Cederberg is the Head of Trading at CastleArk Management LLC, based in Chicago, IL, where he leads the firm’s trading strategies and execution across various equity products. At CastleArk, he plays a central role supporting the firm’s large cap growth, small cap growth, SMID growth, international equity, and global energy investment teams, specializing in U.S. and global equity markets.

With over three decades of industry experience, Cederberg’s career spans leadership roles such as Global Head of Trading at Institutional Capital LLC and Senior Equity Trader at Madison Investment Advisors, where he handled high-volume equity trades and complex portfolio transitions across multiple sectors, including technology, energy, and growth equities.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and began his finance career at American National Bank in 1988. Cederberg is recognized for his expertise in equity trading, process optimization, and trade execution, contributing to the operational and strategic efficiency of several prominent asset management firms.
