Geoff Edelstein

Geoffrey I. Edelstein, CFA is a Co-Founder, Principal, and Portfolio Manager at Granite Investment Partners, LLC, based in Los Angeles. In this role, he serves as a key member of the firm's leadership and is a co-portfolio manager for large-cap equity strategies, directing investment policy and research for the firm's institutional and high-net-worth clients. Granite Investment Partners specializes in equity, balanced, and fixed income portfolios, with a primary focus on U.S. large- and small-cap equities, but includes experience managing assets across a range of sectors such as technology, consumer discretionary, healthcare, and financials.

Edelstein brings over three decades of investment experience, previously serving as Managing Director at Transamerica Investment Management, where he oversaw large-scale portfolios prior to co-founding Granite in 2009. He has guided Granite’s growth, managing investment solutions for pensions, endowments, private funds, and individual clients, and serves on the operating committee responsible for firm-wide strategy.

Geoff received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. In addition to his professional role, he is recognized for his contributions to real estate development and governance, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to asset management and client advisory services.
