Pankaj Chandak

Pankaj Chandak, CFA, is a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Granite Investment Partners, LLC, based in Los Angeles. He serves as the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Small Value Equity strategy and as Co-Portfolio Manager for the Micro Cap Equity strategy, while also acting as an analyst covering the Financial Services, Energy, and Technology sectors. In addition to these responsibilities, he became a partner at the firm in 2017.

With over thirteen years of investment industry experience, Mr. Chandak began his career at Granite as a research analyst intern before moving to an equity research associate position at B. Riley & Co. He returned to Granite in 2014 and has since ascended to principal and portfolio manager, bringing expertise in equity research and strategy across small-cap and micro-cap asset classes.

Mr. Chandak holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and he has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. His career reflects a blend of technical, analytical, and leadership capabilities, with a focus on generating value within equity strategies targeting the small-cap and micro-cap segments and specific sector coverage in financial services, energy, and technology.
