Deepak Chaulagai

Deepak Chaulagai is a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Sit Investment Associates, Inc. in Lakeville, MN, where he conducts fundamental equity research as a generalist with a focus on companies in the U.S. and Europe. At Sit Investment Associates, he contributes to the analysis and selection of equities across multiple sectors, supporting the firm's domestic and international portfolio management functions.

Previously, Deepak served as a Senior Equity Analyst at Alerus, where he helped manage the firm’s large cap equity portfolio. He has over 16 years of investment industry experience, including investment research and management roles with Leuthold Management and Dougherty & Company, and brings expertise across large-cap, mid-cap, and growth equity strategies.

Deepak holds an MBA in Securities Analysis & Finance from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is a CFA charterholder and also serves as an adjunct professor of finance at the University of St. Thomas, as well as the president of the investment committee for the Association of Nepalis in Minnesota.
