Diana Salter

Diana L. Salter is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. in New York, where she specializes in managing investments for private clients and institutions. She focuses on equity and fixed income strategies, with particular expertise in municipal and U.S. taxable securities. Her role involves constructing and overseeing investment portfolios tailored to client objectives, applying rigorous research and independent thinking aligned with Tocqueville’s investment philosophy.

Salter brings decades of experience in the financial industry, having previously served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Griffin Asset Management, and as a Vice President in JPMorgan Chase’s Personal Asset Management division. Earlier, she held a Senior Portfolio Manager position at The Bank of New York, where she managed multi-asset portfolios for high-net-worth clients.

She is a founding partner of Northstar Capital Management, where she managed equity and fixed income investments before joining Tocqueville.
