James Hunt

James E. Hunt is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. in New York, where he leads the International Multi Cap Equity and Global Equity strategies and serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee for these mandates. He specializes in managing diversified global and international equity portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions, with a focus on multi-cap securities across developed and emerging markets.

Mr. Hunt joined Tocqueville Asset Management in 2000, having previously served as Director of Research from 2000 to 2006. His earlier career includes senior investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers and Warburg Dillon Read, as well as foundational experience as an Equity Analyst at Delafield Asset Management.

He holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management. Recognized for his expertise in global and international equities, Mr. Hunt has made significant contributions to the development of Tocqueville’s global investment strategies and research capabilities.
