Mason Sexton

Mason Sexton is not currently a Managing Director at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P.; rather, public records indicate he was an Analyst at Tocqueville Asset Management from 2004 to 2008. Presently, he is the founder, President, and Director at Mindful Foods, Inc., as well as the founder of Moonit LLC.

Earlier in his career, Mason Sexton gained renown as the founder of Harmonic Research, where he established a reputation for forecasting market cycles and making highly publicized predictions, particularly regarding the 1987 stock market crash. Sexton’s work primarily focused on equity and bond markets, advising institutional clients such as hedge funds and investment advisors on broad-market trends. His expertise was widely recognized in the investment community, earning him the title of “Top 10 Timer” by Timer Digest multiple times during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Sexton holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, acquired in 1972, and began his career at major investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers.
