Yash Patil

Yash Patil is a Junior Associate in the Capital Allocation team at Vaughan Nelson Investment Management, based in Houston, TX. In his current capacity, he is closely involved in supporting the firm’s value-oriented equity portfolios through fundamental company research, sector analysis, and contributions to allocation decisions across various equity strategies.

Patil's role encompasses exposure to multiple asset classes and geographic markets, with specific involvement in U.S. large cap, small cap value, global SMID cap, and emerging markets equity strategies. His analytical work supports Vaughan Nelson’s bottom-up investment approach and aims to capitalize on information and liquidity inefficiencies within these equity universes.

He holds an M.S. in Engineering Management and Leadership with a finance focus from Rice University and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Vaughan Nelson, Patil served as a Resident Associate at Rice University, building a foundation of analytical and leadership experience that contributes to his effectiveness in investment research and capital allocation.
