Zhongjie Wang

Zhongjie (Matt) Wang is an Associate, International Equity at Vaughan Nelson Investment Management, where he focuses on fundamental research and analysis in international equity markets. He is responsible for identifying investment opportunities and supporting portfolio management for strategies targeting non-U.S. equities, with particular emphasis on developed markets aligned with the MSCI ACWI ex USA and international small- and mid-cap equities.

He joined Vaughan Nelson as an Equity Research Intern in 2022 before advancing to his current analyst role. Throughout his tenure, Wang has contributed to multiple value equity strategies, including international and emerging markets portfolios. His research has supported the firm's disciplined, bottom-up investment process and sector positioning, notably within sectors such as Information Technology, Real Estate, Materials, Consumer Staples, and Utilities.

Wang holds an MBA from Northwest University (2022) and a BA from the University of Manitoba (2016). With over six years of financial analysis and research experience, he is recognized for his depth in international stock selection and his support of Vaughan Nelson's differentiated approach to value investing across global equities.
