Pete Carpenter

Pete Carpenter is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Victory Capital Management Inc., where he leads Trivalent Investments’ International Core ACWI ex-U.S. Equity strategy and its related mutual funds. His responsibilities include managing the International Core Equity strategy, and he is also actively involved with the International Small-Capitalization Equity and Emerging Markets Equity strategies. Carpenter provides direct research coverage of the Consumer Discretionary and Industrials sectors for the international team, reflecting his expertise in global developed and emerging equity markets.

Carpenter’s professional background includes his tenure as Senior Portfolio Manager at Munder Capital Management from 2007 until it was acquired by Victory Capital in 2014. Prior to Munder, he gained significant experience at Standish, Ayer & Wood, later joining the Boston Company after Standish's acquisition by Mellon. He has played a notable role in the continuity and evolution of the Munder International Equity team, now operating as Trivalent Investments under the Victory Capital franchise.

He holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Carpenter is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Institute, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence in equity research, security selection, and portfolio construction for international and emerging market equities, particularly within consumer and industrial sectors.
