Steve Bishop

Steve Bishop is a portfolio manager at Victory Capital Management Inc., based in San Francisco, where he is a key member of the RS Growth team and manages multiple growth-focused equity strategies. His current responsibilities include co-managing the Victory RS Science and Technology Fund, Victory RS Mid Cap Growth Fund, and other RS growth portfolios, with a particular focus on identifying innovative and disruptive companies across the U.S. large cap and mid cap growth sectors.

Bishop began his investment career in 1992 and joined the RS Growth team in 1996 as a research analyst primarily covering the Information Technology sector; he transitioned to portfolio management in 2001 and has remained with the team through its acquisition by Victory Capital in 2016. His expertise lies in technology and growth equity, with a deep research-driven process emphasizing companies demonstrating sustainable earnings growth, strong fundamentals, and industry innovation.

He holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School. With over three decades of experience, Bishop has contributed significantly to the success of RS Investments' growth products and has built a reputation for applying disciplined risk management and fundamental analysis within the growth equity space.
