Martine Satterlee

Martine Satterlee is a Managing Director and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Contrarian Capital Management, L.L.C., based in New York. She leads the analysis of distressed investment opportunities in U.S. corporate loans, bonds, and trade claims for Contrarian Capital Fund I, focusing on complex, special situations in the credit space.

Her investment expertise centers on distressed and stressed U.S. corporate debt, including loans, high-yield bonds, and trade claims. Prior to joining Contrarian in 2014, she was an Investment Analyst at Värde Partners, specializing in U.S. stressed and distressed corporate debt, and a Senior Analyst at CIM Group, where she focused on private equity investments.

Ms. Satterlee holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. Her deep analytical background and sector experience have contributed to her reputation as a specialist in distressed credit and private equity investment analysis in the U.S. market.
