Richard J. R.

Richard Roy serves as Principal, Portfolio Manager, and a member of the Investment Committee at Credit Capital Investments, LLC (CCI). In this role, he oversees portfolio strategy, investment selection, and risk management with a focus on the energy, energy infrastructure, and industrial sectors. His responsibilities include managing assets, guiding investment decisions, and providing strategic leadership across CCI's investment mandates.

Prior to his current position, Richard was the Founder and Managing Partner at Lucror Capital Advisors, L.P., where he specialized in investments related to energy and energy infrastructure. He also served as Director in Citigroup Investment Research’s Energy & Energy Infrastructure Group, advising large institutional investors on investments in public and private energy assets and leading transactions involving IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions totaling billions of dollars. His equity research has been featured in Barron's, and he was recognized as a "Top Stock Picker" in the United States by Financial Times/StarMine in 2010.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from Columbia Business School, with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is recognized for his deep expertise in energy equities, energy infrastructure, and industrials, with a proven record in equity research, portfolio management, and investment analysis in those sectors.
