Drew Beja

Drew Beja is a Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and Portfolio Manager at Granahan Investment Management, LLC, based in Waltham, MA. He leads the GIM Small Cap Focused Growth strategy, and also manages portions of the firm's Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios. His primary investment focus centers on growth-oriented small and SMID cap equities, particularly targeting companies with potential for sustaining 15%+ growth, across diversified sectors including technology, consumer, healthcare, and financials.

With nearly 30 years of investment experience, Drew began his career as an equities analyst at Advest before transitioning to portfolio management roles at Standish, Ayer & Wood and later co-founding Lee Munder Capital Group, where he managed small and SMID cap growth equity products and launched the Focused Growth product in 2007. He brought this flagship strategy to Granahan Investment Management upon joining the firm in 2011, further solidifying his expertise in identifying and capitalizing on high-growth opportunities within the small cap universe.

Drew holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Miami University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is recognized for his disciplined risk/reward methodology and his active participation in industry organizations including the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society, underscoring his leadership in small cap growth investing.
