John Huber

John Huber, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer at PMA Asset Management, LLC, based in Minneapolis, MN. Since joining PMA in 2013, he has overseen the firm's investment process, portfolio management, and strategic direction, leading a team focused on prudent asset management for institutional clients. His primary investment focus lies in managing institutional cash, fixed income, and balanced mandates, with particular expertise in public sector investment portfolios, including municipalities, school districts, and other public agencies.

Previously, John served as Chief Investment Officer - Fixed Income at RBC Global Asset Management U.S. Inc., where he led fixed income strategies for a broad client base, and as Principal at Galliard Capital Management, broadening his experience in institutional asset management. Over his career, he has developed significant expertise in short- to intermediate-term fixed income strategies, liquidity management, and public funds investment solutions.

John holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, as well as a B.A. in Communications from the University of Iowa. His leadership has contributed to advancing public sector investment management best practices and growing PMA's reputation as a leading provider in the sector.
