Christopher Hopkins

Christopher Hopkins, CAIA, is Vice President, Investments at Summit Trail Advisors in New York, where he leads the firm’s initiatives in private equity, direct investments, and manager research. His role encompasses designing investment solutions and sourcing unique private market opportunities for high-net-worth clients, with a strong focus on private asset classes including private equity funds, co-investments, and infrastructure.

Before joining Summit Trail Advisors, Christopher was Vice President, Investments at Flexstone Partners, specializing in private equity funds and co-investments, and previously served as an Investment Officer on the Infrastructure team at the Office of the Comptroller of New York City, managing pension fund allocations to private markets. He began his career at Albourne Partners, where he consulted on alternative investments.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Over his career, he has developed recognized expertise in private markets and has contributed to innovative investments for institutional and private clients, establishing himself as a versatile professional in alternative asset management.
