Will Albright

Will Albright is the Senior Investment Officer at the Texas Permanent School Fund (Texas PSF), one of the largest educational endowments in the U.S., based in Austin, Texas. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and implementing the fund’s investment strategies, which cover a broad spectrum including public equities, private equity, real estate, absolute return, private credit, and global risk strategies. These efforts directly support the fund's mission of ensuring durable financial resources for K–12 education throughout Texas.

Albright’s career spans over a decade in institutional investment management. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Associate at Texas PSF from 2015 to 2022, where he contributed across asset class research and portfolio management. He began his career as an Investment Analyst at the San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund from 2012 to 2015, gaining foundational experience in public pension fund investment analysis and operations.

Will holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University-San Marcos. His expertise lies in multi-asset portfolio construction, manager selection, and quantitative investment strategies, with a particular focus on global equity, private markets, and risk-adjusted returns. He has contributed to major mandates such as the $1.5 billion World ex-US enhanced index portfolio allocation, reinforcing Texas PSF’s reputation for innovative, collaborative, and disciplined investment management.
