Robert W. Foran is Principal, Co-Founder, and Chief Compliance Officer at Granite Investment Partners, an independent registered investment advisor based in El Segundo, California. As a member of the firm's management committee, he oversees regulatory affairs and contributes to strategic leadership for both institutional and high net worth clients. His firm is employee-owned and specializes in equity management, including large cap, small cap, and growth strategies, serving a mix of institutional accounts and mutual funds with a focus on delivering investment performance in varied market climates.

Mr. Foran's expertise covers a broad range of equity sectors including technology, consumer, healthcare, industrials, and financials, as highlighted by Granite's holdings in companies such as Microsoft, Apple, NVIDIA, GE Aerospace, and Evercore. Before co-founding Granite Investment Partners in 2009, he served as Director - Institutional Markets at Transamerica Investment Management and Vice President at Westcap Investors, bringing over two decades of industry experience to his role.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout his career, Foran has been recognized for his commitment to compliance, operational rigor, and building investment processes that leverage deep analytical research across public equities, notably in large and small cap growth and core strategies.
