Haitham Al-Sayed

Haitham Al-Sayed is Vice President of Investment Advisory Services at Saturna Capital Corp, based in Newport Beach, CA, rejoining the firm in May 2023. In this capacity, he leads client engagement and advisory strategies, focusing particularly on faith-based investing and Shariah-compliant asset management, including Saturna's Halal investment funds and socially responsible portfolios.

Al-Sayed has over two decades of experience in financial services, holding senior roles including Regional Manager at Saturna Capital and Global Head of Institutional Sales and Advisory Services at Wahed Invest, where he specialized in institutional and advisory relationships in the ethical and Islamic finance sectors. His expertise spans a range of asset classes, primarily public equities and multi-asset strategies aligned with sustainable and values-based investment objectives.

He holds an MBA in International Finance and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in Social Sciences/Pre-Med from the University of California, Irvine. Recognized for integrating client-centric solutions in the ethical investment space, Al-Sayed is also active in community service, serving on the Irvine Children's Fund board, and is known for advancing financial literacy on topics such as savings and compounding for long-term client outcomes.
