Zahid Siddique

Zahid Siddique serves as Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Saturna Capital in Bellingham, Washington. He is responsible for portfolio management and equity research, notably managing the Saturna ASEAN equity fund, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and Islamic investment principles. Siddique’s coverage spans international equities, with particular expertise in ASEAN markets, as well as in evaluating both conventional and Islamic finance across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and private portfolios.

Before joining Saturna in 2015, Siddique spent ten years as a senior equity analyst and associate portfolio manager at Gabelli Asset Management in New York and worked as an asset manager in Dubai. He holds an MBA in finance and economics from Columbia Business School, a BS in industrial engineering from Columbia University, and a BA in mathematics from Hamilton College.

Siddique is a CFA charterholder, recognized for his prudent risk management and global investment experience. He is actively involved in training and thought leadership within Islamic finance and capital management, and he contributes expertise to institutional and private investors in the areas of equity and risk assessment.
