Nikhil Malpani

Nikhil Malpani is an Analyst and Investment Committee member at Sustainable Growth Advisers, LP, where he focuses on conducting in-depth, fundamental research and contributing to the management of global large-cap growth equity portfolios. He plays a key role in identifying high-quality, economically resilient companies with sustainable and predictable long-term earnings and cash flow growth, and his responsibilities include evaluating both U.S. and international equities, particularly in the large-cap growth space.

Prior to joining Sustainable Growth Advisers in 2024, Nikhil served as Senior Investment Analyst at American Century Investments from 2017 to 2024 and as Senior Analyst at Indus Capital Partners from 2014 to 2017. Across these roles, he has developed significant expertise in the analysis of global equity markets and has a track record of applying rigorous research and valuation discipline to his investment decisions.

Nikhil holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai. Recognized for his deep industry knowledge, he is a CFA charterholder and has contributed to advancing bottom-up investment processes with an emphasis on integrating ESG factors into security selection. His sector focus spans global large-cap growth equities, with specific research coverage in high-predictability business models across developed and emerging markets.
