Leah Long

Leah Long most recently served as Executive Vice President at WEDGE Capital Management LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she managed institutional portfolios and contributed to the firm’s overall investment strategy. In this capacity, she worked closely with pension funds, profit-sharing plans, and charitable organizations, overseeing investments across diverse equity and fixed-income asset classes.

Throughout nearly 36 years in the investment industry, culminating in her retirement after 19 years at WEDGE Capital, Leah developed deep expertise in value equity and fixed income investing. She was noted for her research-driven approach to portfolio management and her leadership in managing both U.S. and international small-cap equity portfolios, as well as multi-asset institutional accounts.

An alumna of Furman University ('86) and a CFA charterholder, Leah was recognized for her thought leadership and contributions to professional organizations, including serving on the Furman University President’s Advisory Council. Her notable achievements include advancing best practices in institutional asset management and serving as a mentor to emerging professionals in the investment sector.
