Jenny Lee

Jenny Lee is Managing Director, Co-Head of Private Credit, and Partner at Brigade Capital Management, LP, based in New York. She leads the development and expansion of Brigade’s private credit business, overseeing origination, investment, and fundraising activities, particularly focused on direct lending and club deals for corporate borrowers in the lower middle market.

Her sector expertise is anchored in leveraged finance—including high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and private credit—serving companies that typically generate annual EBITDA between $10 million and $50 million. She is also involved in Brigade’s collateralized loan obligations (CLO) platform, which invests across the broadly syndicated loan market in the U.S. and Europe.

Prior to joining Brigade in 2022, Jenny spent nearly 30 years at J.P. Morgan, culminating as Managing Director and Co-Head of High Yield and Leveraged Loan Capital Markets. She holds a BA from Amherst College in Biology and Art History, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Jenny is widely recognized for her deep networks and influence within the leveraged finance space, helping Brigade secure institutional backing and successfully scale its private credit and CLO funds.
