Chaitanya Yaramada

Chaitanya Yaramada, CFA, serves as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Brown Capital Management LLC, where she leads the Small Company Strategy. In this role, she is responsible for portfolio management and conducting in-depth research with a focus on identifying exceptional growth companies within the small-cap equity universe. Her investment coverage is centered on small-cap U.S. equities, including technology, healthcare, and other innovation-driven sectors, leveraging her background in equity research and technology analysis.

Before joining Brown Capital Management in 2019, Chaitanya spent nearly a decade at Baird, progressing from an associate in equity research to a technology analyst within Equity Asset Management. She began her career in information technology prior to shifting to asset management, providing her with a strong analytical foundation and sector expertise in technology-driven industries.

Chaitanya holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder and is recognized for her rigorous analytical approach and her contribution to the advancement of small-cap growth investing at Brown Capital Management.
