Kayode Aje

Kayode O. Aje, CFA, is Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Brown Capital Management LLC in Baltimore, MD, where he leads investment strategies and co-manages international equity and international small company portfolios. He is a key member of the firm's International Investment Team, focusing on global equities with a particular emphasis on exceptional growth companies across a wide range of sectors and market capitalizations, including small and mid-cap asset classes.

Prior to joining Brown Capital Management in 2016, Kayode accumulated deep experience as a global equity research analyst at Chevy Chase Trust, as a senior analyst and portfolio manager at Legg Mason Capital Management, and as an account officer in JPMorgan Chase’s Private Banking Division. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in analyzing and investing in public equities, both in domestic and international markets, with a strong record of identifying growth opportunities.

Kayode holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management as a Yale MBA Scholar and graduated cum laude with a BS in finance from the University of Maryland, College Park; he is also a CFA charterholder. His contributions to the investment industry include active mentorship, financial literacy advocacy, and pro-bono consulting, reflecting a commitment to both professional and community excellence.
