Daman Blakeney

Daman C. Blakeney is Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Brown Capital Management LLC in Baltimore, MD, where he leads portfolio management for the firm's Small Company Strategy, focusing on domestic equity securities of small-cap growth companies. He has more than 24 years of industry experience and is an expert in equity research, asset allocation, and investment management, with particular emphasis on small and mid-cap growth equities across various sectors including technology, healthcare, and industrials.

Blakeney joined Brown Capital in 2008, following roles as Senior Equity Research Analyst at Voyageur Asset Management and Victory Capital Management, where he analyzed public equity investments across the U.S. markets.
