Christine Emerson

Christine Emerson, CFP®, is a Portfolio Manager at HM Payson & Co in Portland, Maine, where she primarily works with the financial planning group to guide clients in understanding and organizing their long-term financial priorities. Her role involves conducting in-depth reviews of clients' current financial positions and using projections to assess long-term financial stability, with a focus on personalized, goals-based wealth management.

She has significant expertise in financial planning, investment management, and accounting, drawing on over a decade of experience in professional services. Prior to joining HM Payson in 2020, Christine served as Manager at Wipfli LLP and as Senior Associate at Macpage LLC, where she developed robust analytical and client advisory skills.

Christine holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Technology from the University of Vermont. As a Certified Financial Planner®, she particularly focuses on comprehensive financial planning and asset allocation, supporting clients across sectors including retirement planning, estate considerations, and investment strategies for individuals and families. She also contributes to her community through service on the Finance Committee for Portland Trails.
