Frank Marcoux

Frank Marcoux, CFA, serves as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager in the Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing (SRI) Group at Bailard, Inc., where he is based in the San Mateo area. In this role, he sits on Bailard’s fundamental investment committee as well as the SRI group’s investment committee, guiding investment strategies that integrate ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria to align client portfolios with values-driven financial objectives. His responsibilities include overseeing portfolio construction and research for both institutional and individual clients seeking impact-focused investment solutions, with an emphasis on domestic and international equities, fixed income, and alternative strategies such as private real estate.

Frank brings over 27 years of industry experience, having previously served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Nelson Capital Management, where he led the Faith Based investment strategy and managed the asset allocation committee, and as a Senior Equity Analyst at YCMNET Advisors. Earlier roles included private equity valuation and research positions at Willamette Management Associates and Franklin Templeton Group, contributing to his broad expertise across equities, asset allocation, and thematic investment strategies. At Bailard, Frank's work particularly emphasizes sustainable, responsible, and impact investment approaches across equities and multi-asset portfolios, leveraging deep fundamental analysis and ESG research.

Frank holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and is a CFA charterholder. Over his career, he has made significant contributions to advancing impact investing, serving on several key investment committees and helping to shape values-based investment strategies for a diverse range of clients. He is recognized for his leadership in sustainable and responsible investing, with experience spanning equities, multi-asset portfolios, and faith-based mandates.
