Kavi Sud

Kavi Sud is a research analyst at Polen Capital Management LLC, based in Boston, MA. He specializes in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities within the global small and mid-cap (SMID) equities universe, focusing on companies with high-quality business models, durable competitive advantages, and sustainable growth prospects. His analytical responsibilities include conducting deep fundamental research, ESG evaluation, and collaborating on portfolio management decisions for concentrated, actively managed equity strategies targeting companies typically sized between $1-25 billion in market capitalization.

Prior to joining Polen Capital in 2022, Kavi spent seven years at Manulife Investment Management as Managing Director and Senior Investment Analyst on the Capital Appreciation team, where he gained extensive experience covering growth-oriented equities. Earlier in his career, he worked as an IT consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton for five years.

Kavi holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He is also a CFA® charterholder, reflecting his expertise in investment analysis and portfolio management. Notably, during his MBA, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager for Darden Capital Management’s Rotunda Fund, overseeing a multi-style ESG-focused equity portfolio and helping it surpass $1 million in assets under management.
