Christopher Lewis

Christopher Lewis, CFA, is a General Partner at WEDGE Capital Management LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is responsible for the development and maintenance of quantitative models across the firm's investment strategies. He is a member of the Investment Policy Committee and plays a critical leadership role in shaping the firm’s systematic and fundamentally-based equity and fixed income investment processes.

Lewis’s expertise centers on quantitative and analytic finance, with a primary focus on model-driven strategies and enhanced indexing within U.S. equity and fixed income markets. At WEDGE, he is actively involved in the research and application of selectivity theory and advanced portfolio construction techniques, serving institutional investors.

Before joining WEDGE in 2014, Lewis was an Associate at River Branch Capital, where he specialized in investment models and deal execution for community banks, and was previously an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse. He holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Analytic Finance and Econometrics & Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has contributed scholarly work to the investment profession on enhanced indexing and selectivity theory.
