Clayton Albers

Clayton Albers is a Vice President and Quantitative Analyst at WEDGE Capital Management L.L.P., based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative models used across the firm's investment strategies and oversees equity trade order management. Additionally, he serves as a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, contributing to broader portfolio and risk management decisions.

Albers’s expertise focuses on systematic, model-driven equity investing, particularly in U.S. small- to large-cap value stocks across multiple industry sectors defined by the firm’s proprietary frameworks. He also has significant experience with the management of diversified, investment-grade fixed income portfolios, addressing various duration targets and emphasizing risk/reward optimization through both Treasury and non-Treasury sectors.

Prior to joining WEDGE in 2017, Albers was an Accounting Manager at Emerging Sovereign Group in New York and previously held an assurance role at PwC.
