State of Wisconsin Investment Board
The State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, is a state agency created in 1951 responsible for managing the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), the State Investment Fund, and other state trust funds. SWIB is overseen by a nine-member Board of Trustees and manages assets for more than 692,000 participants and 1,500 employers.
