Carley Phillips

Carley Phillips is a Principal at Greycroft, based in San Francisco, where she leads investments in climate technology as part of the CCS Sustainability Fund. Her key responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and scaling portfolio companies within the climate tech sector, which encompasses innovations in carbon capture, sustainable infrastructure, and environmental technologies.

Prior to joining Greycroft in 2022, Carley was an Investment Associate at Decent Capital—Tencent co-founder Jason Zeng’s family office—where she invested in early-stage companies across consumer internet and enterprise software verticals. She also has hands-on operational experience from her product management role at BrainCo, focused on go-to-market strategies for machine learning-driven cognitive training applications and brain-machine interface wearables.

Carley holds a BA in Chinese Language and Culture with a minor in Economics from Wellesley College, where she also competed as a varsity athlete. Her multifaceted background in venture capital, product development, and early-stage technology investments positions her as an emerging expert in climate tech and sustainability-focused investing.
